When a pullover is the better choice
Pullovers give you the whole front of the hoodie for your design, which is why they are the default for team gear, school spirit wear and event merch. If the logo should be big and bold, choose a pullover.
When a zip-up is the better choice
Zip-ups suit people who put the hoodie on and take it off all day: front-of-house staff, coaches and volunteers. The left-chest logo looks more like a uniform, and the open front layers over shirts and polos.
Verdict
If the hoodie is mostly about showing off a big design, go pullover. If it is mostly worn as a work layer, go zip-up. We can mock up your logo on both styles for free so you can compare before you order.
